 Hi!
My name is Emma. I bring the Rocking Horse Music
program to the children, parents and carers in
community music playgroups and child care
centres each week.
My background is in both music
and education with qualifications and experience
as a primary & early childhood music specialist,
piano tutor, conductor, guest speaker and
workshop presenter.
I believe our program is
unique in that it is based on the philosophy &
methodology of three prominent music educators:
Kodaly, Orff and Dalcroze.
Attending regular professional development in
the form of workshops, conferences, training and further study, keeps
the content and delivery of our early childhood
music education program informed, fresh and innovative.
It is a privilege to
facilitate in making music accessible to babies,
toddlers, preschoolers, carers and parents in the
hope that it is making a profound contribution
to their overall
development.
